As we celebrate National Nutrition month, each week we will spotlight a member of our wonderful Food Service staff here at Arbutus.
This week we get to know our Dishwasher and February ‘Above and Beyond’ Winner, Lisa Bestvina!

Tell us a little about yourself: I am originally from the Johnstown area. I have a dog named Princess and a cat named Mickey.

When did you join the team here at Arbutus? I have been here for 32 years.

What is your favorite thing about being at Arbutus? I like interacting with the residents and meeting people.

How did you get into the food service industry? I graduated through Johnstown VoTech in food service and preparation.

What is your favorite meal? Cheese Pizza

What is your least favorite meal? Liver and onions

When you aren’t at Arbutus, what do you like to do? I enjoy fishing and bowling at Richland Lanes. I enjoy reading, a little bit of everything. I also enjoy movies, my favorite is ‘Ratatouille’

If you could meet anyone, living or deceased, who would it be? Bob Hope, I used to watch his show a lot.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Florida- I would like to go to Disneyworld, and to get away from the snow.
