Dear Families and Friends of APRC,
Arbutus Park continues to regularly test our staff and Manor residents for COVID. This week, we have experienced an increase in both resident and staff positives, primarily in our ‘Crossroads’ unit. We continue to follow all guidelines that pertain to our industry, including extreme infection control measures.
Visitation for Crossroads: At this time, we are strongly encouraging friends and family to consider alternate means of visitation such as window/chatterbox visits, phone calls, and Skype/Facetime video calls. These can be coordinated through Melinda in our Activities Department at 814-262-3880. Physical visitation to Crossroads will require full PPE including mask, goggles, gloves, and gown regardless of vaccination status.
Visitation for PC, West, and Doerr: If a visitor shows proof of vaccination, they may remove their mask and have contact with the resident in their room. Masks must still be worn while traveling through the halls to the resident’s room. If a visitor is not vaccinated, or refuses to show proof that they are vaccinated, they are required to wear a mask during their entire visit.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
