Dear family and friends of APRC,

Arbutus Park has continued to conduct COVID-19 testing on nursing/personal care residents and manor employees. As of Friday, March 5th, the test results for the period showed zero new positive cases of COVID in the residents and zero new positive tests for staff members. We had no new deaths in residents who had COVID documented as their secondary cause of death during that period.

At present, all non-positive manor residents are being tested for the coronavirus weekly. All non-positive employees up to this point are also being tested weekly. Immediate rapid tests are also run on anyone who is showing potential COVID-19 symptoms. This will continue until directed otherwise by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. All employees are wearing full protective equipment when providing direct care to residents.

We are excited to be announcing the details of our indoor “chatterbox” visitations tomorrow. We look forward to you being able to comfortably visit with your loved one. We are grateful to our revitalization campaign donors and PepsiCo of Johnstown for making this room possible.
