Dear friends and family of APRC,
On Monday, October 26th of this week, all residents of Arbutus Park Manor were tested for COVID-19. The test results received Wednesday, October 28th revealed four positive resident outcomes for the virus. These four residents were immediately strictly quarantined and have had no contact with any other resident of the facility. As of Wednesday, October 28th, one more employee has tested positive for the virus. This employee has also been quarantined. All the necessary government agencies have been notified of these positive cases within Arbutus Park Manor. Arbutus is working in conjunction with the centers of Disease Control and the Pennsylvania Department of Health to mitigate any further potential positive cases.
Although we can’t guarantee there will be no more positive cases at Arbutus Park, please know we are working around the clock to provide the safest and most caring home for our residents. We will continue to test residents and employees on a weekly basis until given further direction from the state and federal agencies.
