Dear family and friends of APRC,

Arbutus Park Manor has some residents who have tested positive for COVID-19. These residents are being quarantined in a separate unit and all precautions are being taken to address this situation. Any resident with COVID related symptoms will be required to isolate until a diagnosis is established.

Due to recent guidance by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and because we are 100% resident vaccinated, we are reopening the other areas of the Manor for in-person visitations for residents who haven’t been exposed. All visitors must adhere to the following guidelines in order to visit their loved ones:

= Visitors must come in the front door of the Manor and be triaged. This includes answering a series of questions, sanitizing their hands, having their temperature taken, and wearing a face covering, covering both the mouth and nose. This procedure will determine if they are eligible to make the visit. Face covering must be worn from the moment visitors come into the building and the time spent proceeding to the resident’s room. Fully vaccinated visitors and fully vaccinated residents may remove their face coverings while they are visiting in the resident’s room but this is highly discouraged at this time. Face coverings must be worn for any visitations outside the resident’s room. Unvaccinated visitors are required to wear face coverings during the entire visit with a resident.

= If a visitor is fully vaccinated, they must show proof EACH time they come to the Manor.

= If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, please do not visit us. If you are aware of any COVID or influenza related exposure please do not visit for a period of 14 days. If a resident shows any symptoms of illness we will ask that they have no visitors.

This visitation situation could change based on change of our COVID status or further guidance provided by regulatory agencies.
