Dear Families and Friends of APRC,

Arbutus Park continues to regularly test our staff and Manor residents. For testing this week, we had 10 residents and 8 staff test positive. We are following the necessary protocols for these individuals. We continue to temporarily suspend group gatherings and activities for both the Manor and our cottage community. We will continue to follow all the guidelines that pertain to our industry, including extreme infection control measures, which are so important.

Even though our governing bodies have instructed us to continue to allow visitations throughout the Manor, by either vaccinated or unvaccinated visitors, we recommend you consider all of your options before visiting. Chatterbox and Skype/Facetime visits continue to be available. If a visitor shows proof of vaccination, they may remove their mask and have contact with the resident in their room. Masks must still be worn while traveling through the halls to the resident’s room. If a visitor is not vaccinated, or refuses to show proof that they are vaccinated, they are required to wear a mask during their entire visit.
