Create-Exhibit-Sell.  BottleWorks is a local working art gallery complete with a gallery store. Come visit local artists creating in their studios, see new monthly exhibits and join in some fantastic classes from cooking to yoga.

Often hailed as the “Pride of Johnstown” the symphony provides Johnstown residents the opportunity to experience live music under the direction of talented guest conductors.  They have a youth symphony as well as a community outreach orchestra “Community Strings.”

Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is located on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown.  PPAC brings live music, musicals, and various dance groups to town on a monthly basis.

If you are a fan of the ballet, you are in luck. Visit the Johnstown Concert Ballet for show information and tickets. As a non-profit organization, Johnstown’s local ballet brings the community together to support our talented local dancers.

Johnstown’s own NAHL hockey team.  The Tomahawks play at the 1st Summit Arena.  It’s always a great night for hockey! Did you know Johnstown was named “Kraft Hockeyville USA in 2015?”

The 1ST SUMMIT ARENA @ Cambria County War Memorial hosts several different concerts and various types of shows. Currently, the arena is home to the Johnstown Tomahawks.


Senior citizens age 65 and older are eligible to ride any fixed route bus FREE. Applications can be downloaded on the website.  CamTran lets you schedule a ride so you don’t have to wait outside.

The John Murtha Cambria County Airport is minutes from Arbutus.  Featuring commuter flights to and from Pittsburgh, PA.  Traveling is easy.

Yes, you can take the train.  Located at 47 Walnut Street in Johnstown, about 20 minutes from Arbutus, the Amtrak station is surrounded by historic buildings and has a comfortable waiting room.  Routes and schedules are found on the website.
