WE ARE THANKFUL FOR VOLUNTEERS!!! April 23 – 29th is National Volunteer Week. The Business Office is very appreciative of the “helping hands” offered weekly by the volunteers who deliver our mail to the residents throughout the Manor. Our willing volunteers stay true to the motto of the US Post Office –Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds! During any holiday their workload becomes extra heavy as they go from room to room delivering greetings and communications throughout the building, often times offering assistance by opening or reading mail to those we care for, establishing friendships along the way. “ A volunteer is not measured in size but by the depth of their commitment to make a difference” and we would like to say THANK YOU to these special people who so willingly offer us a helping hand! – bc
