7-30-20 Update: Testing & Moving Forward

Dear Friends and Family of Arbutus Park,

This week you may have seen articles or watched the press conference in which PA DOH Secretary Dr. Levine stated “facilities are one step closer to achieving all of the goals set out to allow safe visitation.” While we are sincerely excited to eventually welcome visitation to the manor again, there are still several steps to implement before we share our re-opening plan and a tentative date:

The biggest step is COVID testing of all residents and staff with all negative results. We have completed all our testing but are still waiting for results on 65 employees to come back. If that is accomplished, we will have to wait another 14 days before establishing and sharing protocols for visitations.

We have worked so hard to keep COVID out of Arbutus Park, as many homes around us are reporting staff or resident positive cases. We sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding during this constantly evolving situation. We hope you will continue to utilize the Skype, Facetime, and Chatterbox visits to spend time with your loved one.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
