BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Training
Associates Degree in Accounting, preferred.  High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Skill(s)
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word), have great communication skills both written and verbal and basic math skills.   Candidate must also possess a proactive attitude and be willing to take on new projects and duties as they arise.  Multitasking and prioritization important.  Candidate must be able to pass a background check.

Experience
1- 3 years Admin assistant or office clerk/secretarial experience. Experience in accounting concepts preferred.

Essential Duties

We have an exciting full time accounting opportunity for a highly organized individual to join our dedicated team of dedicated professionals. This position will report to the Director of Finance and be responsible for part of the company’s accounting/bookkeeping functions with additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Cash Reconciliations, general ledger, data entry
  • Assisting with month end closing process
  • Assisting with annual budget process
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed such as back up to front desk reception including answering phones, greeting and assisting guest and residents
